The OceanCam-HD PTZ is the world’s most advanced underwater high-definition camera that can be controlled and viewed over the Internet. The OPT-06HD is a 1080p, full frame rate at 30 frames per second (fps), pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) dome network cameras with 30x optical zoom for the ultimate in video quality and performance. Cameras transmit H.264 compressed video/audio and are easily configured to stream live video to thousands of simultaneous viewers.

Complying with relevant parts of the SMPTE 274M standard, the cameras’ HDTV 1080p entails a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, progressive scan, color fidelity, full frame rate and a 16:9 format. The cameras can deliver multiple, individually configurable H.264 and Motion JP EG video streams simultaneously. H.264 greatly optimizes bandwidth and storage use without compromising image quality.

Models are powered using High Power over Ethernet (PoE), which further simplifies installation since only one cable is required for power, video and PTZ controls. The HD camera can automatically move to a preset position or when motion is detected in a pre-defined area and then track the detected object.

It delivers HDTV 1080p with a 16:9 aspect ratio and supports both H.264 and Motion JP EG in full frame rates.

The OPT-12HD offers outstanding light sensitivity, It optimizes the video for extreme levels of detail even in low-light and dark environments. Delivering HDTV 1080p video up to 50/60 fps with reduced noise and motion blur, the camera captures moving objects even in high-pace environments.

The OPT-12HD has 10x optical zoom, 12x digital zoom and autofocus and can provide the desired field of view immediately, in perfect focus. A built-in SDHC card slot enables local storage for several days of recordings, without any external equipment.

The AquariCam-HD can cover a wide 112-degrees of monitoring area with great efficiency. Electronic pan, tilt and zoom are available within the field of view. Cameras are connected using a single High-Power-over-Ethernet compliant (hPoE) marine-rated cable.

Our unique Double-Bore™ sealing system employs two concentric o-rings for double protection. Pairs of sealing o-rings protect the housing from boring marine organisms. AquariCam OPT-15HD (Remote Head)

The AquariCam™ OPT-15HD is our smallest and most affordable 1080p high-definition underwater Internet camera and is designed for discrete placements in small aquariums, pools or tanks. The remote-head camera housing measures only 40 mm x 120 mm (1.6” square by 4.75”) long. The extremely discreet design permits use in very small exhibits and is easily integrated and concealed.

The camera can be operated as a single unit or up to four simultaneous cameras. It has a powerful processor that enables streaming of full frame rate HDTV 1080p videos from all four units displaying on a single monitor. With HDMI support, the Quad view displays high-definition video on large screen monitors. The “remote head” camera makes possible many uses not possible with the earlier larger cameras without compromising underwater reliability and is suitable for multi-camera installations.

Hemispheric Camera

The OceanCam-OPT-09 provides hemispheric recording and captures a 360-degree view without any moving parts. A virtual Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) function allows the camera to be remotely controlled and viewed. The Internet-ready camera supports MxPEG and Motion-JPEG and delivers excellent VG A picture quality at 30 fps. The uniquely engineered optically clear glass hyper-hemisphere dome provides distortion free images, reducing biofouling and is far more scratch resistant than the softer acrylic half domes.

This imaging system uses a 1/2” CMOS sensor and has a maximum image resolution of 3.1 million pixels with an 8x digital zoom. With hemispheric, single- or double- panorama or simultaneous quad views, the camera can cover a wide monitoring area with great efficiency. Even when using the zoom function, the camera always records the entire image.

The full image can optionally be saved for later research purposes. While you closely analyze image sections in the live image using the virtual PTZ feature, the camera continues to run in the background and internally records the entire area as a full 360-degree image. The recorded images can be later analyzed from different perspectives using virtual PTZ. The camera also features an internal DVR (digital video recorder) with a maximum memory capacity of 32 GB; recording over 30 hours of video.

Hybrid Cable System

The newly improved underwater cable system now supplies both data and power over a single ruggedized cable. The cable is especially valuable when using the LED lighting system. Delivering power sufficient for both the

OceanCam and up to four lighting modules, the underwater cable greatly simplifies deployment. With a wet mateable other, the
underwater hybrid cable can be easily transported and safely deployed. An optional waterproof power box is also available.

The Hybrid Cable is the perfect compliment to any of the OceanCam systems with or without lighting. The cable can be configured to support data+power or PoE (Power over Ethernet) over a single cable.

Specially formulated with high-grade polyurethane, the outer sheath has an extremely high abrasion resistance and a low coefficient of friction that affords more protection against the harsh conditions of the open ocean. It is available in lengths of 50 and 100 meters.

High-Powered Underwater Lighting System

High-powered LED lighting system to compliment their Ultra-high-definition underwater cameras. Each OPT-HP L lighting module emits 60 watts of white light covering 90-degrees in both horizontal and vertical directions. The highly compact modules can be daisy-chained to cover a wider area. The system can support up to four modules over a single underwater power cable. Wet-mateable
connectors can also be employed to connect lights directly to cameras (on some models), thus additional cabling to the surface may not required.

Each LED module has a 316 marine-grade stainless steel housing with temper glass lenses and is rated to 180 feet (55 meters) or more. Designed with overheating and reverse connection protection, the lights operate within a wide 10~30 VDC range making possible longer cable installations and operation from batteries.

Designed for vibration and shock resistance, the lighting is intended for long-term underwater deployment. In addition, the lights are coated with a special anti-biofouling protective film that maximizes the long-term performance of underwater lights. The eco-friendly foul-release coating enhances luminosity by increasing emitted light organization while decreasing its scatter. The nontoxic release coating prevents barnacles and algae from colonizing on underwater surfaces.

With high luminous efficiency and more than 50,000 hours of product life, the OPT-HPL can operate underwater for years with minimal maintenance.

The Ocean Presence hydrophone is designed to work directly with many of our underwater cameras. It attaches to the camera using a wet connector.
