The OceanCam OPT-06HD is a 1080p full frame rate pan/tilt/zoom PTZ dome network camera with 30x optical zoom for the ultimate in video quality and performance. Cameras transmit H.264 compressed video and audio and are easily configured to stream live video to thousands of simultaneous viewers. Complying with the SMPTE 274M standard, the OPT-06HD delivers HDTV 1080p at 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, progressive scan, color fidelity, full frame rate and 16:9 format. Models are powered using High Power over Ethernet (PoE), simplifying installation with a single cable for power, video and PTZ controls. The camera can automatically move to a preset position when motion is detected in a pre-defined area and track the detected object.

The OceanCam OPT-06UHD delivers 4K performance at 30 frames per second for installations that demand the highest resolution, perfect focus, good color representation and full frame rate. It delivers Ultra-high-definition TV with a 16:9 aspect ratio and simultaneously supports 4K HDMI, HD-SDI and 1080p H.264 video over IP for Internet streaming applications. The OPT-06UHD features a 1/2.3 Type Exmor R High-speed, Low-noise CMOS Sensor with 9.03 megapixels, 12x optical zoom and 20x combined digital zoom. A built-in SDHC card slot enables local storage for several days of recordings without external equipment. Additional features include gyroscopic image stabilizer, focal plane distortion correction and defog image processing.

The OceanCam OPT-06BUHD delivers broadcast-quality audio and video up to 4K with smooth PTZ control for professional webcasting. Compatible with VISCA joysticks and VISCA over IP, it integrates easily with existing AV installations. Enhanced security features include signed firmware and secure boot to ensure firmware integrity and authenticity. H.264 and H.265 encoding significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality. Building on the proven reliability of OPT's standard PTZ underwater cameras, the OPT-06BUHD uses a Progressive scan RGB CMOS 1/2.5 inch image sensor with 30x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom for 360x combined magnification.
